I feel like I share quite a lot of things about me on the blog so today it’s time to turn the table. No matter if you’ve been reading nadirahim.com for a while or just stumbled across my blog right now, I would love to get to know you a bit better. 😊 . [...]

dim sum with haireya

There's nothing lovelier than spending good time with my loved ones. We've been planning this lunch since October, I think. It's to celebrate Haireya's graduation! We went to Ramada Plaza's Long Feng Restaurant because both of us craved for some dim sum. I went to pick up Haireya's bits and bobs before going to the hotel. It was supposed to be a surprise for her, and boy, was she surprised!
suppository drug
This conversation took place at a friend's house. ... Friend: *takes a pill and swallows it with a glass of water* Me: "What are you taking?" (The medical student in me have to know everything) Friend: *passes me the bottle* Me: *reads the prescription strip on the bottle and looks at my friend straight away* [...]
henna night
Good evening! I hope you're having a wonderful day so far. I have nothing much to write about on today's blogpost. Last month I tested a new schedule for my blog posts where I scheduled them on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. However, I'm thinking of doing permanent slots on Sunday and Thursday, and let Tuesday be a day where I post if I have extra materials. What do you think?
five things i’m happy about this month
a cosy weekend to do list

I love a busy weekend full of plans but I equally, if not more so, enjoy a cosy weekend at home. Once in a while it’s nice to have nothing to do and just recharge for the weeks ahead. However, it just doesn’t happen often enough! I find it really hard to sit back, relax and take time off so I’ve put together a weekend to do list to fill my mind with ideas.
girl talk | everyday makeup
Morning, guyss!! ❤️ I thought I’d do a little post about the makeup I currently use on a daily basis. I’m a routine type of person -- no matter how much makeup I bought, I’ll end up using the same makeups until they hit pan. So far, none of my makeup has hit pan except [...]
headspace | things that anxiety taught me

. I'm on my way to recovery, I can genuinely feel it. It's a good thing, though I'm not completely passed my anxiety/depressive phase. There's a steady progression and that's enough. 😊 Along the way to recovery, I pick up some valuable life lessons that I may not have learnt that quickly if it's not for [...]
vanillafluff.co
Right after I baked everything for my cousin (read about the post here), I swore to God that I'd never bake for anyone ever again. But I happened to find myself creating an account for my cupcakes and loaves that very next morning, with feet still sore and all. 😅 .. It was one of [...]
umbrella of darkness

By now you should notice that I like to pretend that I have readers on this blog 😂 #delusional. Oh well. What can I say. This blog, however quiet it is, is my happy place.
I'm getting sidetracked. Seriously, I have an attention span of a goldfish! Oh. I want to tell you about an event that I attended last Saturday. The event was organised by the Al Maghrib Institute. It was a talk by Yasmin Mogahed entitled "Umbrella of Darkness -- Healing through Emptiness".
