super gooey fudgy brownies

Mmmm… I can still taste the cocoa and fudginess of the brownies I baked today 🤤 *salivating hard* It’s already 2020! How about that. I went to watch the new year’s fireworks at KLCC park. I’ll write a bit about it in a later post. I hope that this year will bring us joy, success, and growth ♥️

Mum had been telling me that I never go into the kitchen anymore (it’s borderline nagging, really). And I do miss being in the kitchen tbh. So since I have nothing planned this school break, I’m going to make it a point to whip and create something relatively healthy out every other day (I’m still on my weight loss, muscle toning routine haha).

If you’ve read my kitchen adventures and recipes before, you’d know that I treat cooking and baking like science experiments. It is science! And any recipes that I’ve shared would at least gone through 3-4 times of me trying them because your girl here is a bit fussy with her food hehe 🙈

For the fudgy brownies, I tweaked the Laura Vitale’s recipe a bit. Hence this brownies is less sweet, more very cocoa-ey, with all the motherload gooeyness and all things good! 😆I’ll link the original recipe here if you want to check it out. Um, and also, I may or may not take a bit longer than intended on the pictures that the coarse salt I use for garnish melted hahaha 😆 Some parts of the brownies were extremely salty hahaha. Mum suggested on using icing sugar or tasteless flour instead if you want to make it pretty.

p/s since the end of last year, my palate has seriously craved for Japanese and Korean food. I’ve always liked them, but the cravings has been unreal! Perhaps I’ll put some recipes up here if I find any worthy ones. 😊
